The community is now known as the Blackley community comprising of Sr Margaret Martin, Sr Pat Walsh and Sr Gabriel Mary. Sr Gabriel Mary lives on the outskirts of Bury in Tottington and continues to teach on a voluntary basis in Bury Catholic Preparatory school.
The Daughters of the Cross retain the trusteeship of Holy Cross 6th Form College, Bury and three of the Sisters including the Sr Provincial, Veronica Hagen, serve on the Governing Body
Sisters Margaret Martin and Pat Walsh live in a semi-detached house, near the bus stop in Blackley, Manchester. They are Parish Sisters, but their mission field can be just wherever there are people - in the street, waiting for the bus, at the shops, hanging out the washing and walking to Mass.
