God make me want to be a Sister when I am old enough!
There are probably times in each person’s life when we think God does not answer our prayers. He certainly answered my prayers said when I was about nine years old. I remember lying in bed praying, “God make me want to be a Sister when I am old enough!” I have been a Daughter of the Cross for 42 years. In the postulate and novitiate there were many mornings when I decided I was going home. By the evening, I was staying! I thank God that he called me to serve him in the Congregation and that he has surrounded me with Sisters who have helped and supported me. I hope that when I meet Blessed Marie Thérèse in Heaven she will welcome me as a member of the family she founded, a true Daughter of the Cross.
