St Elizabeth’s Centre

The Daughters of the Cross have relinquished the Trusteeship of St Elizabeth's which is now a separate charity with a new board of trustees appointed by Cardinal Vincent Nichols. Two of the Sisters and the Sr Provincial remain as Trustees for an interim period.

In caring for vulnerable people St. Elizabeth’s Centre specializes in the field of epilepsy, associated neurological disorders and other complex medical conditions. Set in 65 acres of parkland it comprises a Residential Special School, which now offers fifty two week provision when needed. The centre offers twenty four hour care, nursing, therapy and education.

Our history and ethos help give St Elizabeth’s a very special character and distinctively person centred approach, encouraging and supporting everyone to ‘live life to the full’(John 10 v 10)

Although a small community, the Sisters remain a presence in the Centre and are involved in a variety of ministries in the Diocese of Westminster.
